Elizabeth Hosea is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in both Texas and Minnesota.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Minnesota State University, Mankato in December, 2001, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Minor in Business Administration.
Elizabeth has practiced for over 16 years in Public Accounting. Her primary focus is tax compliance, tax planning and tax representation with the IRS and various state agencies for a broad range of clientele including individuals (both wage earners and self-employed), corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates.
She also handles DOL filings for her clients’ employee benefit plans, analyzes the tax consequences of mergers and acquisitions, prepares and processes payroll reports, performs bookkeeping and accounting functions and offers general consulting services.
Elizabeth is experienced with various industries including, but not limited to, agriculture (farming, ranching, etc.), professional services (attorneys, doctors, dentists, consultants, chiropractors, real estate agents, etc.), manufacturing, municipal utility district service providers, oil & gas, banking, software development and various not-for-profits.
Elizabeth serves as a Board Member for the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce and actively participates with the Education Committee for that Chamber, is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery County (LMC Class of 2016 Treasurer), is developing a VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program year-round site in conjunction with the IRS and United Way of Montgomery County and is a member of the Executive Women’s Alliance in The Woodlands, Texas.
